I've lived in palm beach county my whole life and I have never heard of Buds, until a few months ago when my boyfriend suggested going there because they had good food and a drive thru. Well I have been going back at least once every couple weeks.. Now let me tell you.. This is NOT good for your diet but it definitely makes an awesome cheat meal! I've tried the chicken fingers, shrimp, and fried chicken all of which have been delicious.. The corn fritters will make your mouth water.. The best part is the food is always so hot when you get it that by the time you get home it's still hot, which is a big necessity with fast food. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the employees are not friendly in the least.. The line for the drive thru is always extremely long, but I will say it moves pretty quickly... Maybe because the employees are short and unfriendly lol... But the food makes it all worth it for sure.

I cant even count how many times , i been there. The chicken sandwitch is so good. I had an office by there and had lunch there alot. The staff is always nice and the food has always been good.

This place is simply amazing!! The food is fresh has great quality and they are fast! The only thing would be the service and attitude at the drive through that they can really work on. Not very warm at all!! You can go to KFC and better service BUT the food is the big winner!! Fix your service and it will be 5 stars!!!

Was really craving some fried chicken. I am new to the area and decided to check it out... I went through the drivethru. The girl who took the order only gave me one word responses the entire time, made it very irritating ordering.. I came up to the window, she only said the total and held out her hand then immediately turned her back to me and started talked to the other employee... I let it all go cuz I just wanted some damn chicken.. But after about two pieces of chicken and a hush puppy I started to get a stomach ache.. I ate a little more then ended up with such a stomach ache I was in bed early with a bottle of tums.. I was extremely disappointed.. So 1 star

My wife and I have been loyal Bud's customers for over 15 years now. The food is mostly fried and just maybe not all that healthy but it's definitely worth it cause it's oh so good. Call it comfort food to be enjoyed once is in a while on those "special occasions". It's good food at a great value that just keeps us coming back for more. Be sure to try the corn fritters, Fish and Chips and Chicken Wings. The lunch box specials are a great value any time of day or night. The fries are awesome when hot. Just to mix it up a bit we tried the $0.99 Fish Taco tonight. The shell was a bit chewy and could use some adjustments but the overall flavor was excellent.

I used to live across the street, and would walk to pick up something there. The Combo platters are huge.. My arteries clog every time I pass by this place. But its sooo good.

If you go to the Palm Beaches and leave Bud's off your list of places to visit: fire yourself. Cause you just missed out on some of the best food to ever come out of a fry basket. This is coming from a vegetarian so that tells you something when even I make time to shove their corn fritters into my pie-hole. Bud's corn fritters are sent from the deep-fry gods so I'll gladly take on the calories (eat 'em while they're warm, trying to reheat these babies does not work out well though I have eaten them cold just to get my fix.). My relatives love the chicken and shrimp. I can even recc their cole slaw (my dinner always end up being a hodge-podge of side items). Commit to some extra cardio time for a week and indulge.

This place is TERRIBLY UNHEALTHY. But, that's what makes it good. Their corn fritters are incredible, and it's the whole reason I ever come here. I always order their chicken strips, fries, and corn fritters. Its a heart attack waiting to happen.

My family loves it. But they just love fried chicken in general. i like it. The place is pretty ghetto but the chicken is good. it comes with hush puppies. Their mac n' cheese is very cheesy and they serve crinkled cut fries.

I grew up in Boynton Beach, and every time I go back I have to have Bud's. It has the best chicken fingers on earth, and great fried shrimp. The corn fritters are world class! It is Fast food, but so much better than most. The ultimate in comfort, make you happy food.

Wait 15 minutes in the drive thru, girl swipes my card, and gives the surly reply it don't swipe we can serve you. No matter how good the food, if you can't afford to hire staff that have the most rudimentary skills at customer service, you're not worth the trouble.

This is a great local chain to get your fried food fix. I order the fried chicken and shrimp platter and it was golden fried perfection. The chicken and shrimp were nicely cooked. Still firm yet moist and flavorful. Came with fries which were pretty good and the hush puppies are my favorite. I always order extras :) staff is usually pretty friendly. The drive thru can get pretty busy at lunch/dinner times. There's plenty of parking and many locations to visit. One of our usuals.

This is the kind of place that only locals know to go to. If you want traditional, southern fried food at affordable prices, be sure to go to Bud's. Their fried chicken sandwiches, corn fritters, cole slaw, fries, and brownies are all exceptional. Bud's serves the kind of food that you probably shouldn't indulge in too often for your heart's sake, but it is the kind of meal that you will want to indulge in all of the time for your stomach's sake. A must visit , if you're like anyone I know who's tried it, you'll be going back again.

I have been here several times and the food is always incredibly good! when i was growing up KFC was actually really good and then it was Frans chicken in Boca Bud's is my new KFC and Frans all in one plus their fish sandwich is an added bonus!! A must try.

Terrible service, will never spend my money here ever again, now I know why the parking lot was empty when I pulled up there, please close this location down, so another deserving establishment can occupy this space. I had to give it a star to continue this review.

Bud's is becoming a weekly obsession of mine! The chicken fingers are terrific, cooked to perfection! I love the fritters, they compliment the chicken and crinkle fries with a little bit of a sweet taste. I have also tried their clams, which were cooked perfectly!
